You can see by the picture of the south side of the church that they have begun to remove the plaster from the outside of the church in certain areas. This shows the look of the actual rock that is under the plaster. Where they are removing it above the window, it's interesting to see how the rock is laid in a fan design around the top of the windows. Also, today they worked at the back of the church to install some drain pipes.
